The Vertus CS 1000 is a compact system and consists of a two-way passive bi-amplified line array and a subwoofer, both equipped with high-quality, durable birch plywood cabinets.
Thanks to its six custom 70mm (3") neodymium full-range woofers with a 20mm (0.75") high-efficiency voice coil, the line array can ensure a sound dispersion of 110°H x 30°V, with a frequency response from 40Hz to 20KHz. The satellite is also equipped with a hooking system for optional accessories that allow extending the length of the line array by coupling two satellites one above the other or making suspended wall installations. The custom 320mm (12") subwoofer with a 64mm (2.5") high-excursion bass-reflex voice coil is equipped with an aluminum die-cast handle with rubber inserts, an M20 support for a specific satellite support pole composed of 3 modules screwed on top of each other, and a joint that allows vertical inclination. The system is class D amplified with 600Wrms for LF and 400Wrms for HF with a switching power supply, and is equipped with a DSP processor with 8 equalization presets, guaranteeing optimal sound performance for any situation. The control panel is equipped with a master volume, presets, satellite volume, HPF, status LED, XLR input and link, and a Neutrik SPEAKON for the column connection. The Vertus CS1000 system is easily expandable for a total power of 8000W peak (stereo system composed of 4 x Vertus CS1000, two per side) thanks to the modularity of the system, which allows doubling the sub and satellite to form a single system through optional accessories. Furthermore, the satellite support pole and the satellite itself are fully integrated into the Subwoofer cabinet, and a button holding system allows locking the satellite in place for transport.
