The design of the Mitus 115 includes a 2-way bass-reflex system. The woofer is 380mm (15") in diameter and contains a powerful neodymium magnet and a 75mm (3") voice coil. The HF driver is 25mm (1") with a neodymium magnet and a 44mm (1,7") voice coil. This passive reinforcement speaker requires an amplifier with a recommended power of 800Wrms / 8ohm. The horn has an 80°H x 50°V rotatable feature. The speaker's frequency response ranges from 50Hz to 18KHz. The passive internal crossover is of high quality and features "soft-trip" circuitry protection for both LF and HF. The speaker uses Speakon NL - 4MDV connectors for IN & LINK OUT. The enclosure is made of 15mm (5/8") birch plywood, has a scratch-resistant black paint finish, eight M10 fly points, two FBT design aluminium handles, and a 35mm (1,38") speaker stand socket. The speaker is ideal for live sound reinforcement applications as front of house main PA and is also suitable for permanent installations.
